Lucifer was about to comment on the response to his question when Dean asks his own. It's enough to make the angel pause and chuckle.
"Your question is no more precise because my reasons are many." A cocky and mischievous smirk erupts in Lucifer's expression. "I, and my God, are very different than yours by what Balthazar has told me of your creation. I drove a spear through God when the battle in heaven first stirred. My feelings toward Him have not improved over the past ten billion years. A punch to his face would barely touch the enmity I bear for God." Lucifer began walking again, slowly. "I have committed many deeds that God find abominable but our enemy seeks attrition these days rather than isolation. I cannot afford to do anything less."
