Not quite fear, but in a similar sort of way that a cat bristles up when it's upset. He does his level best not to let it show, though, giving it a moment to pass

He's definitely missing Cas and Sam right now, as much as Zack was awesome. He'd gained a soft spot for that one real quick, and Dean's not too sure if that says something about his incessant need to not be alone. Nah, it's fine. "I'm taking that as a yes though. So, what do you wanna know?"
