He'll follow wherever Lucifer leads as he explains, "Because to be honest, I'd rather not retread ground you're already familiar with and rake over shit that's best left alone if you already know it. I ain't much much of a talker in the first place." He's more an anger, repression and denial kind of guy really. And he can admit it. "And I know theat the feathered gossip circle has been in full swing. So, would I prefer to skip the irrelevant-" and painful "-to the current conversation context crap when you already know it? Sure."
The offer of open, random questions gets him raising an eyebrow. "But... if you're wanting to hear it from me..." He could absolutely take this piss, but then he's also not sure he wants to get the answers to his more knee-jerk smart-ass questions with the offer of honesty. So he instead goes for "A game of Quid pro quo, then, Clarice?"
